Les Baudouins Morts existed between 1996 and 2000. They were a local cult band, with a strong following in the underground scene in and around the town of Leuven (Belgium). Their music, if that's what you want to call it, was just an excuse to promote radical leftwing protest, make sick jokes, criticize about everything and everyone walking the face of the planet and give everyone involved the opportunity to play his instrument to his own liking. The lyrics were always in Dutch, interlaced with...

Nambavan lives in the Russian republic of Tatarstan. He began composing music on his first pc in 2000, got expelled from guitar lessons for not remembering the songs a few years later. Nowadays he works with his pc, a $80 guitar and a Casio keyboard. His musical diet consists of Blondie, the Sex Pistols, Cerrone, Sonic Youth, Jimi Hendrix, Iggy Pop, The Doors, Giorgio Moroder, Donna Summer, Madonna, Supermax, and the Bee Gees. This 4-track ep is the result.

Well, I was born in Orleans (the old one) in 1971, learned guitar at 15 but never was a hard worker, smoked at 17 and re-discovered the Beatles, Pink Floyd and Jimi Hendrix with my first psychedelic group: Wired. After we split, I made my own album where I could do whatever I want. This was Noises In My Head, recorded more than ten years ago. After two more bands were set up and split, I turned to the technical side of the music but I strongly think about making a second one.

Zeptosound are inspired by the transition from order to chaos, by the world being regular and known yet simultaneously deeply strange. Other people say we're classical, or new-age, or jazz/improvisational, but we don't really know. What we do know is that we like improvisation and randomness in our music and often feel we are on the edge of reaching something but the closer we get the further this something retreats into the darkness or the light. If we go too far towards it we'll kill it.

Summer had passed when poet Ruud Linssen and three musicians came together to see what they could do. In winter the quartet released their first album of music and poetry under the flag of Mellsch . "Spheriot is a one-man project - all the music comes from my heart and head and is produced in my livingroom and spare time! There has never been any kind of concept in the music - or any aim to sound like this or that. It just evolves from the songs I have always been writing on my guitar - and my roots as a "producer" in just playing around with my Mac a little. But somehow it developped to a kind of pop-music that I never expected it to be like - even if there is always one or...

The title track from Chicky's Sputnik in Love album [WM008] plus four brandnew remixes and an exclusive video. Straight from the Middle East: Sweet Lo-Pop, originating from outsider music, Israeli-style disco, and easy-listening music. Guitar and baby-organ songs. This is the world of Roy "Chicky" Arad.

When the project NORWAY started in the city of Porvoo in the early 90's Rumpan Löök & Kukkiva Kunnas had used the Octamed - a popular sound tracker for the Commodore Amiga - for a few years already, at the time they were discussing a multimediaproject and somehow Norway and its fjords were selected.

Project "Sminky" consists of one person named Sminky. Who that is - a girl or a guy - we can't say exactly. Moreover, this person exists only within his/her music. Sminky's world exists only within the music: Sminky's space, Sminky's puppies, Sminky's planets, Sminky's glasses and wolves. And Sminky's wish is the only law in this universe. Sminky lives in the legendary land of Siberia next to a huge pine forest. In his/her childhood she (he?) sang in a local church-choir and theatre...

When CobSOn was 6 years old, mom and dad Cobson sent her to the local music school (in the suburbs of Toulouse) where she started to play the piano. The course lasted 11 years. During the summer 2002, she wrote her first words, "Give the slip" (now "Kidding?"), which became her first song in october when she started playing the guitar. She met drummer Thierry Bordier in december 2002 who invited her in his home studio. Thierry, interested in her music, proposed her to come...

Alright then - another album. Still my mostly self servicing homebrewed - or if you prefer -grown - Spheriot soup, stirred by a planless cook who hasn't yet achieved expertise as a producer and is still lacking a cookbook for a predictable style - or maybe just ignores it.

The music found on this here album is the kind of music one would like to hear if one was inclined to hearing sounds put together and taken apart using notes, noises, melodies, harmonies, rhythms, and all the opposing forces as well. If you like music, you'll love the music here.

On his privately released debut album Zoë muj (So tired) D'r Sjaak turned the rather traditionalist world of music from the Dutch province of Limburg into a lo-fi, experimental playground. And then D'r Sjaak moved on. His virtual single Meatje made waves on regional radio and in the national music press. "A strange and inventive mixture of Neue Deutsche Welle, hip hop, house and electropop", raved one magazine. D'r Sjaak is depressed, yet happy. Drunk, yet sober. Understated, yet...

The name Klaz* is derived from the name of Bijkian cosmonaut Kowax Laz. He was the first Bijkian to make far exploratory expeditions into space and he received all military honours which a person can get, because of his pioneering work with the Bijkian army. We feel like musical pioneers. With our music we not only want to appeal to the Bijkians on Bijk, but also to Bijkians on earth and to your people (who we want to introduce to Bijk with our music). We try to be different from other Bijkian...
